From What's new, new media?

Take the original reality TV show, Cops and add user input from the viewers and you have Cops 2.0. Weeknights on the G4 network at 5pm and 9pm ET, Cops is shown with the added commentary from users via chatroom located at g4tv.com. Additionally, fun facts and quotes are also used during the show.

William Gibson wrote this concept in his novel, Mona Lisa Overdrive, with a show called "Cops in Trouble."
