Danah Boyd

Boyd, who typically does not capitalize her name (danah boyd) is a doctoral student at the School of Information (SIMS) at the University of California. Her research focus is on "networked publics" or online social communities and "how people negotiate a presentation of self to unknown audiences in mediated contexts."[1]
