In contrast to "classical" narrative conceptions, which the user can only experience, Emergent Narrative allows the user to also be an author, co-authoring the narrative in collaboration with other the user/authors participating in the mediated space. This form of narrative is more dynamic and often more character-centered when compared to traditional forms.
